We’re excited to announce a new partnership with the Institute for Studies on Latin American Art (ISLAA) to host a new event at the College Art Association’s annual conference: the ISLAA-ALAA Encuentro for Latin American and Latinx Art at CAA. In addition, the reception will provide an opportunity for our members to meet and network in a more informal setting, strengthening bonds and fostering a more robust community. It will also provide an opportunity for emerging scholars to interact with their peers and, in particular, with more established scholars. In this regard, we envision an event that can stimulate mentoring relationships among members of our communities.
